Our tour includes the following:-

Sainte-Mère-Église and the Airborne Museum, Airborne Drop zones’, Utah Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach - stop 1, Omaha Beach - stop 2 and Colleville U.S. Cemetery

This tour is suited to those who only have a couple of days in Normandy and especially those arriving at Le Havre, St Malo, Honfleur and Cherbourg Ports via Cruise Liner who only have 1 day.

Cherbourg is the nearest port to Sainte Mere Eglise (the first stop on a tour of the American Sector), but Le Havre, St Malo, and Honfleur are over 100 miles and around 2 hours drive.

Our specialist driver/guide who provides this tour works a very long day involving much highway / motorway driving. This is why our tour may be more expensive than other tours, with other companies but the difference is you have a knowledgeable, native English-speaking driver, who is passionate about his work and would love to show you the places other companies leave out.

The price of this tour is 500 euros.

Prices quoted are for 2 - 6 persons for the whole day and includes tolls and diesel. It does not include entrance to museums, tourist sites, museum guided tours or lunch.

If however you are in Normandy for longer please visit Battlebus at www.battlebus.fr.

Client Reviews

We have just returned for a wonderful three weeks in Europe and literally the first e-mail I am writing upon my return (and quite jet-lagged I might add) is to let you know how much we enjoyed our day-long tour.

Eric was our guide and we enjoyed him thoroughly. He was not just very informative but a delight to be with. He repeatedly went out of his way to make sure that we were completely satisfied and we could not possibly have enjoyed our tour more.

You should be justly proud of the outstanding employees you have.

Thank you for everything,

Jonathan Minkus.

Dear Eric and Michelle,

My husband Dave and I returned three days ago from our first-ever trip to London and Normandy and I still cannot stop thinking about our amazing tour of the D-Day beaches with Eric. We loved London and we can’t wait to get back there and explore more of the sights. Still, the day we spent with Eric was without question the highlight of the trip.

Two things remain uppermost in my mind about our day together: First, that Eric has such an impressive knowledge of the events surrounding D-Day that I learned much more than I could have ever hoped to learn by touring the area independently; and second, that his passion for the importance of those events and his appreciation of the people who sacrificed so much there lent a very human and emotional aspect, which made the day utterly unforgettable. We will not forget the many stories you shared, Eric, about so many individual acts of heroism that collectively changed the course of history that day. Thank you so much for all your insights, Eric! It was just an incredible day for us!
