Monet Gardens, Giverny Tour or Shore Excursions

Monet spotted Giverny through a train window when travelling between Vernon and Giverny. He promptly moved there with Alice Hoschede and planted his garden so that he could paint every season. After his death the gardens and house fell into disrepair until in 1977 the Academie des Beaux Arts set about restoring it to its original condition. Today it is enjoyed by thousands of visitors every year.

Full Day Tour - Monet Gardens and Giverny

Once your driver / guide have collected you from your accommodation/hotel he will drive to Giverny where you will meet your private Monet guide. You will be given an introduction to the life and work of Claude Monet followed by a guided visit of Monets house, the formal enclosed Norman Garden, the Water Garden, its Pond and the Japanese Bridge You will then take lunch.

In the afternoon you are able to take a complete tour of Giverny to include Claude Monets grave and the American art Museum. We will then drive you back to your accommodation/hotel.

Please contact us for price information which is dependant on your pick up location. Please note all prices quoted will include entrance tickets to Monets house and gardens. However lunch will not be included.
